Abstract: The availability of adequate amount of resources is regarded to be of utmost significance in all types of organizations. These are financial, human, technical, material and information resources. These need to be utilized in an adequate manner in the implementation of tasks and activities. The individuals need to make use of these in an adequate manner and prevent wastage. The individuals in leadership positions are vested with the authority and responsibility of managing resources in an adequate manner. Furthermore, they need to formulate laws and rules, which need to be followed by all the members in an adequate manner. The individuals need to ensure, the different types of resources need to be managed in an effective manner. The service providers are hired in order to make sure, the management of these resources takes place in a well-organized and satisfactory manner. Hence, all the members need to put in efforts to their best abilities in making use of them in a satisfactory manner. Furthermore, it needs to be ensured, scarcity do not give rise to impediments within the course of achievement of desired goals and objectives. Therefore, it is well-understood that scarcity of resources is an impediment within the course of progression of organizations. The main concepts that are taken into account in this research paper are, scarcity of resources is an impediment in implementation of tasks and activities, disadvantages of scarcity of resources and measures to be put into operation in alleviating scarcity of resources.
